We are in New Jersey at Caesars for the NCEA Convention. Not sure why they are having it here. "Gambling with the Future of Catholic Youth" or "We Have No King but Caesar" might have been good titles for the conference (Navigating the Future is the title I think). Anyway large statues of Caesar and slot machines now are surrounded by admiring nuns (in habits). Archbishop Myers (formerly of Peoria now of Newark) has the openning Mass today.
Yesterday Amy, Joseph and I prayed before the body of St. John Neumann at St. Peter's in Philadelphia. We also visite Franklin Commons, the Quaker Meeting house and ate Philly Cheese Steaks for lunch.
