I read Wisdom of the Sadhu: Teachings of Sundar Singh yesterday. It was a very interesting compilation of Singh's thought, much of it presented in a question and answer format. Singh was a convert to Christianity from the Sikh religion but seems to have dabbled as a young man in many of India's religions. His take on Christianity is interesting because he sees it as uniquely different than the religions of the East. His conversion came about as the result of a vision of Jesu and for the rest of his life he became a devout follower of The Master, while never formally attaching himself to any particular church. So essentially it is Christianity without the Church but it is an execellent read for anyone who needs to refocus on what the meaning of a relationship with Christ is all about.
Here is another short work by him that is online.
