I finished reading Mystery of Love by Cardinal Basil Hume last night. It is a short book of meditations that has some truly wonderful insights such as:
1. We experience the Image of God in another person whenever they do something loving or affectionate toward us.
2. The problem of evil cannot be explained only meditated upon by reflecting on the crucifixion of Jesus.
The book is very enjoyable and even though I read it straight through it really would be better read in small bites.
